Open Position: Skilled / Finish Carpenter – Exhibit & Permanent Display Fabricator

We are a creative exhibit and design-build company experiencing steady growth, and we are looking for a Skilled/Finish Carpenter to join our production team. Cabinet makers, fabricators, and finish carpenters are an excellent fit for this role. Position Overview
As a Finish Carpenter & Fabricator, you will help transform design concepts into physical environments, trade show exhibits, museum displays, university sports installations, showrooms, traveling activations, and more. No two projects are the same, and that’s what we love about this work.
You’ll work in our Phoenixville production facility and occasionally on-site for installations. Strong laminating skills and/or CNC experience are a plus, but we are also willing to train the right person who is committed to learning and growing with us.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication & Carpentry
Build and assemble custom trade show exhibits, permanent displays, and branded environments using wood, laminates, metal, acrylic, and mixed materials.
Interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and shop tickets with accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate standard woodworking tools and machinery safely (saws, routers, sanders, CNC equipment, etc.).
Finishing experience, a plus, including laminating, staining, painting to produce polished, client-ready results.
Contribute ideas and solutions when unique fabrication challenges arise.
Installation & On-Site Support
Support installation and teardown of exhibits, branded environments, and display components.
Perform basic wiring, AV hookups, lighting connections, and low-voltage integrations (experience helpful but not required, training available).
Collaborate with project managers and designers during setup to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
Travel occasionally to client locations, convention centers, or venues for installation and dismantle.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with designers, project managers, and fellow fabricators to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Communicate proactively regarding project needs, obstacles, or opportunities for improvement.
Maintain a positive, team-oriented environment where craftsmanship and creativity thrive.
Shop & Safety Maintenance
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with repairs, refurbishments, and modifications on existing client assets.
Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications
2–5+ years of carpentry, cabinet making, fabrication, or millwork experience (exhibit industry experience a plus).
Strong finishing and laminating skills; CNC experience is a bonus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Pride in workmanship, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Willingness to learn new skills and grow long-term with the team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel occasionally for installations.
Physical Requirements
Lift, push, or move up to 75 lbs.
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and varied site conditions.
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during fabrication or installation.
